I did it!
I finally started Daph's Halloween costume. Okay being really honest I cut out the pieces, I have the machine threaded with the right color thread, but I haven't sewn a single seam. However I was laughing at myself when I realized that the whole dress really doesn't have very many pieces. This should be pretty easy! The only tricky part might be the ruching with the elastic.

You have inspired me to such a degree that I actually sandwiched my Halloween table runner this evening. You remember the one it took me a couple hours to cut and piece sometime in mid-August....
